Well my #txtravels is officially coming to an end! sad day!! But I have to say it has been such a fun adventure! Yesterday, I had the chance to catch up with one of my best friends who is from the Dallas area! It was so fun to get to do “Dallas things” from the view of a local! As well it was so fun getting to catch up with sweet Sarah!!
The first thing Sarah took me to was, The Weekend (no not the singer…I wish), but a cute little coffee shop in downtown Dallas found in the Jewel Hotel. It was such a great atmosphere & the coffee was oh so good. If you ever get the chance to try their coffee go for the vanilla latte.
After our little coffee date, Sarah drove me to the Dallas Museum of Art. We got to walk around & see some really neat pieces of art! The best thing about this place was that it was free admission, which is really good when you are two broke college girls!
After the museum, we walked right across to Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. This park is so trendy & a great family atmosphere. There are various food trucks, along with many outdoor games. The neat part is that this park is on top of a busy Dallas tunnel!
We ended our fun adventure at the famous Dallas bridge! It was a super windy day, but such a view of a beautiful city. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my sweet friend until she comes back for school (two more weeks UGH!). In the meantime, Texas has been such an adventure & such a beautiful place. I will for sure be back soon!!
Thanks for following my adventure!
